The Ron Larkin Scholarship has been established to assist OCH tenants and to honour the outstanding leadership and achievements of Mr. Larkin.

Mr. Larkin was appointed CEO of Ottawa Community Housing in 2004, and retired at the beginning of 2008. In 2010, five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to five OCH residents to help them achieve post secondary education.

Applicants must be:

• a registered household member in an OCH community prior to submitting the application,
  pursuing some form of post-secondary education (i.e. college, university or trade school),
  entering or currently be enrolled in the first year of your educational program. For the 2010 award, you must be starting your post-secondary studies between January 2010 and December 2010.
